Privacy notice — Wenjian for PC

Effective date: October 15, 2026 (China Standard Time).

Provider and contact

Wenjian for PC is provided by pjwaixingren. For privacy or deletion requests, contact pjwaixingren@me.com. Online-service data is processed on servers located in China. This notice covers developer feedback and optional completion-result synchronization in the desktop game. Website accounts, orders, payments, mini-programs and Douyin services have separate notices.

Automatic local saves

Settings, unfinished-story progress and answers, completed results, story cards and personal tags are saved on your device, with a previous-save backup. PNG result cards go to the location you choose. Installed stories can normally be played offline. Server cleanup does not remove your local saves or exported images.

Messages, replies and announcements

Opening feedback, refreshing replies or sending a message connects the game to vomonkey.com. A randomly generated local credential maintains a session and associates messages and replies with the same installation. Store-account or payment details are not required; these records are not completely unlinkable anonymous data. The server processes an installation-associated marker, session summaries and access times, messages you enter, replies, timestamps and read status. Session tokens are valid for 24 hours; expiry does not mean other records are deleted at the same time.

Offline pending messages stay on the device and may be retried on a later refresh or submission. Replies and announcements are also cached. Avoid adding unnecessary personal or sensitive information to messages.

Optional completion-result synchronization

Completed-test and final-result synchronization is off by default. If you enable it, only subsequently completed runs are sent: test ID and version, run marker and server-receipt time, plus any available result type, answered-question count and dimension-score summary. Individual answers, option clicks and time spent on pages are not uploaded. Old local history is not bulk-uploaded, and reopening a report does not count as a new completion.

Turning this option off stops later completion synchronization. It does not delete records already sent or disable feedback you choose to use. Saving individual answers locally is separate from this online synchronization.

Connections and service security

Connections require the server and network infrastructure to process connection information such as IP addresses. Login rate limiting uses a cryptographic marker derived from the IP address. Installation markers, session/access metadata and infrastructure logs are separate from individual gameplay records. This notice does not promise that IP addresses are never stored anywhere.

Retention rules

After this notice takes effect, newly received completion records and final results will be retained for 90 days from server receipt. A feedback conversation will be retained for 365 days from the original player's message. Cleanup removes the replies and associated read/notification records with that conversation, including replies added later.

Expired records are removed by scheduled cleanup, with hourly checks. Actual removal depends on the job cycle, backlog or service recovery; it is not instantaneous erasure of every copy at the expiry millisecond. These periods apply to the two record categories in the current PC service's active database. They are not a universal deletion deadline for local saves, installation/session metadata, all operational logs or backups. They do not establish that older-version or unlinked historical copies have all been removed.

After this notice takes effect, this service's server access logs, error logs and database backups will normally be retained for 30 days and removed by scheduled cleanup. Application runtime logs are retained under separate size and file-count limits, so not every log has the same 30-day retention period.

Requesting deletion

Email pjwaixingren@me.com to request access, correction or deletion, identifying the relevant message or approximate time. We will verify the connection between the request and the records, using the existing feedback conversation where needed. Do not email a local random credential, session token or password.

Deleting local files, switching synchronization off or deleting one message does not mean every associated server record is deleted. We will explain the scope that can be handled. This notice does not promise immediate deletion of every backup or infrastructure log.

Scope and updates

Updates and the effective date will be announced on this page. A 30-day statistics display is not a retention period. Rules for older versions or other platform services are not automatically applied to the PC game.
